Still drying

Thanks all for the comments, even if they are small it is nice to know we have friends all over that care, keep us in your prayers.

So here we are another day, Mark has been working all week and taking care of all the different things at the house, and I have been running all over with the kids. It has made for a super crazy week. All we do is go up to the house, run errands, then back to the house. They are still trying to dry the house. Most of the people we talk to just think..."your bathroom flooded, so you will be back in your house soon??" It is hard to explain how bad it was, so we will use pictures.

Here is the family room, they pulled some of the paint down where it had bubbled out so the walls would dry faster.

They are boxing everything in the house, all the dry stuff stays here in the front room or in a storage unit in the driveway. All the wet stuff goes to their facility to be dried and cleaned.

No more carpet, they tried to dry it but the carpet began to fall apart. They pulled all the carpet in the upstairs except the master bedroom. Yeah I get to buy new carpet (just trying to look at the positive!! :)

Walking around our place can be difficult with all the equipment. They have fans and dehumidifiers everywhere. They keep tripping breakers with all the equipment.

This is not snow, it is insulation from the garage. Mark had just put the snowblower there before we left. Oops! At least no cars were in the garage.
